Guidelines
A few simple rules that keep every class safe, focused and fun.
For parents and guardians
- Arrive on time. The warm-up is compulsory. It prepares the body and prevents injuries.
- Stick to your class. Children attend only the class they are enrolled in, unless booked for a trial. Groups are planned by age and level.
- Wait outside the training area. If you arrive early, please stay in the waiting area until class starts. Children may not use equipment without a coach.
- Pick up on time. If you leave during class, please be back 10 to 15 minutes before it ends.
- Collect your child in person. Children cannot leave the premises alone. A parent or guardian must pick them up.
- No smoking. Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere in the facilities we use. This applies to everyone.
- Questions after class. Coaches can't talk during class. Speak to the admin staff or the Head Coach on duty, email info@rebelangels.qa or call +974 3355 9983.
For gymnasts
- Be kind to other gymnasts, coaches and staff.
- Listen to your coach and follow instructions.
- Never use equipment without a coach.
- Look around before crossing mats, and wait for anyone doing a skill.
- Tell your coach before leaving class, even for the toilet or water.
- Only coaches spot. Other gymnasts and parents do not.
- Water only in the training area. No food, fizzy drinks or chewing gum.
- Look after the gym and put rubbish in the bin.
What to wear
Gymnasts spend a lot of time upside down, so fitted clothes are safest and least distracting.
- Girls: a leotard, or a fitted top tucked into shorts or leggings.
- Boys: a fitted shirt or boys' leotard, or a t-shirt tucked into athletic shorts.
- Feet: bare feet or gymnastics shoes. No outdoor shoes and no socks, which slip.
- Jewellery: none. Leave it at home.
- Hair: tied up and away from the face.
Thank you for helping us keep Rebel Angels safe and fun for everyone.
